The Deflecting Mirror
The Deflecting Mirror, also known as the Deflection Mirror and the Egyptian Deflection Mirror, is a defensive magic item featured in Sorcerer's Apprentice: Fiery Frenzy.
Description[]
Deflecting Mirror is an ornate, enchanted mirror of Egyptian origin with power to deflect oncoming attacks, be it physical or magical, making it an effective defensive tool for a sorcerer/sorceress to protect him/herself from attacks. The Mirror also possesses a considerable durability to boot, more than a sorcerer/sorceress' energy barrier.
The construction of the Mirror itself is not explained in the game, let alone how many of its copies exist. Owing to its design however, the artifact is implied to be crafted by ancient Egyptian sorcerers in the past, and at least a single Mirror is available for a sorcerer ready to be summoned.
Given that it has a reflective surface, the mirror can also be used as the medium for the Hungarian Mirror Trap.
While powerful, Deflective Mirror has some limitations: It can only provide frontal protection and only able to maintain its form for a brief of time before disappears. The mirror also has a fixed position upon its summoning, which means it cannot be moved from its original position.
